Back in April of 2011, Da Capo competed in a regional a cappella competition in Washington, D.C. The group ranked 1st out of all competitors and was also voted "Audience Favorite". As a result, Da Capo was fortunate enough to represent the Mid-Atlantic Region at the Harmony Sweepstakes National Finals in San Francisco, CA in May of 2011. Once again, the group ranked 1st and was voted "Audience Favorite", earning the title 2011 Harmony Sweepstakes National Champions.
